— A woman on Butcher Road, Salem Township, reported at 8:38 p.m. Thursday that her neighbor’s juvenile son came onto her property and stole her chicken and damaged the fence. She said she got the chicken back, but the fence was still damaged. A deputy spoke with the neighbor and his 16-year-old son and the neighbor said he will fix the fence.

— Deputies were dispatched at 5:54 p.m. Thursday to Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township, for an unwanted person. Carter Hollinger, 24, Enon Valley, Pa., was charged with aggravated menacing and criminal trespass and taken to the county jail. According to county Municipal Court records, he’s set to face a pretrial April 28 for allegedly trespassing at a woman’s property in Center Township and threatening to smash her with a hammer for calling law enforcement on April 17.

— A residential alarm was reported at 3:37 a.m. Thursday on Clewell Drive, Hanover Township. A deputy checked the structure from ground level and found it secure.

— A Louisville woman called at 9:36 p.m. Wednesday to request a welfare check on her grandfather on U.S. Route 30, West Township, due to him not answering his phone all day. A deputy responded and spoke with him, learning his phone was not working. The deputy advised the woman.

— A woman on Woodsdale Road, Hanover Township, reported at 9:29 p.m. Wednesday that someone was shining a flashlight into her back door window. A deputy checked the property and area, but didn’t find anyone.

— A deputy was dispatched at 6:59 p.m. Wednesday to Metz Road, Fairfield Township for a 911 hangup call. The homeowner said everything was fine.

— A suspicious person was reported going from residence to residence knocking on doors at 4:19 p.m. Tuesday on Claire Drive, Center Township. Deputies checked the area, but didn’t find anyone.

Lisbon

— Officers responded at 5:51 p.m. on March 30 to Maple Street for a report of a loose dog. On arrival, officers located the canine back on its property.

— Officers responded at 3:19 on March 30 to North Jefferson Street for a lockout. Entry was gained.

— Officers responded at 9:20 p.m. on March 30 to the Lisbon Dollar General to speak with a man regarding lost money. On arrival, the officer spoke with Alan Fast who reported accidentally dropping approximately $120 when leaving the store and was informed by staff that a female had been seen later retrieving the money. Officer advised Alan that no crime had been committed and a report would be kept on file.

— Officers responded at 1:25 p.m. on March 28 to North Jefferson Street for a parking complaint. Officer found the vehicle legally parked.

— K-9 officers responded at 8:32 p.m. on March 28 to assist Ohio State Highway Patrol with narcotics detection on a traffic stop on state Route 30 near Stookesberry Road. On arrival, K-9 Otis was deployed and conducted a free air sniff for narcotics which concluded in alerting the presence of narcotics odor.

— Officers responded at 8:18 p.m. on March 28 to the area of Logtown Road and West Lincoln Way after receiving a complaint of two individuals, one reportedly armed with a handgun walking in the area. Officers checked the surrounding area and were unable to locate the subjects.

— Officers responded at North Beaver Street at 11:56 p.m. on March 28 for a requested civil standby for retrieval of property. Officers stayed on scene until no further assistance was needed.

— Officers responded at 10:27 a.m. on March 27 to West Washington to a report of yelling. No one was home at the residence.

— Following a traffic stop on North Market on March 26 at 2:29 p.m., officers arrested Tyler Jamison, no age or address given, on an active warrant.
