Giant pumpkin weigh-off Oct. 12
The Ohio Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers will host their annual Weigh-Off on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m. at Parks Garden Center in Canfield. Pre-Registration is needed by Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024 at 5 p.m. and paid membership dues before the weigh-off are required to qualify for prize money. Prize money this year will exceed $25,000. There will be heaviest giant pumpkin, watermelon, tomato, field pumpkin, along with widest sunflower head, and longest gourd categories. The winning premium for heaviest giant pumpkin category will be awarded $7,000.
