I find it odd that anyone would critsize him about the Payola... Number 1. this is a common practice now. why do you think you hear Jason Derulo 40 times a day and never up and coming bands with a really good sound. number 2. it was 50 years ago and he is still the Father of Rock and Roll. 3. he still was a Salem Resident for many of years to include Graduating from Salem high school. Lets show the man a little respect from the city of Salem... you know the City of Peace

Whoa. Wrote that last night. Read that the Grande Parade won't be going down State either because of the crack.

But they'll still let cars drive and park there? And the sidewalk is still open?

Our city leadership is lacking.

Totally totally off subject-- only way it relates is it's about Salem.

Drive downtown past the TanFastic building.

A crack is widening a the top corner next to what had been the Butler. It runs all the way down to the first floor.

I mean, it looks like it is going to go soon.

For me, I'll be driving home on Pershing not State St and I am totally serious. And I don't think I'm a fear-monger. (Except about Ukraine)

"f the city is looking at ways to snatch on to tourist attractions? You would do better get Beyonce's tights! "

Wow, I could have a lot of fun with that sentence, but this is a family paper. Except families can't afford to own a copy.

No and why in the hello would Salem want to honor a payola scam artist like Freed. What image is Salem trying to set here? Lookie, lookie, we educate them to commit crimes and take bribes?

And the Mayor of Salem supports it? Are frigging serious?

Trust me, if the city is looking at ways to snatch on to tourist attractions? You would do better get Beyonce's tights! LOL
