Look further down the road... After the grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacies, etc. shut down all together because corporate isn't making any money keeping them open in this country, who will have to step up and get them going again? Its not hard to figure out how the pieces of that puzzle will fall into place, is it?

I don't know who the idiot is who keeps disagreeing on this. Just look it up yourself. Facts don't lie.

Take a look at how much is in offshore accounts for big companies in the US. Type in Apple, for example. These are facts. Should things be changed regarding offshore accounts--yes! But should corporate taxes be changed so we don't keep losing entities--a big yes.

Once someone moves, or merges with another companies overseas--we won't get them back, they are GONE. Too much work/cost to switch/reswitch.

Funnysad how the "world's most intelligent man' can't figure out high taxes drive away business.

I'll say it again: According to BBC News, the UK is back to its prerecession economy, in part because of corporations locating there.

That was one reason Pfizer tried to buy a drug company in England.

If you're going to pick on W, do it for something real. The incandescent light bulb was allowed to be banned on his watch. All for a scam to take more money from us.

@bug: Post your proof that Bush "lied" about WMD. (Hint: Where do you think Syria got theirs?)

It's called denial of the truth and bug sweats bullets on that fact.

"I'm still trying to figure out this "illegal war" concept. Is there such a thing as a "legal war"? Are the American Revolution and the American Civil War considered to be "legal" or "illegal" wars? "

Congress voted to use force. Nothing illegal about it.

rpmwwe, agree, probably no legal wars. Just wars? Some maybe. Pretty sure the revolutionary war would not have been in that category tho.

I also agree that we have to get over it regarding Bush.

But unfortunately, I think our current president has pretty much checked out. He's not liking it so much any more and so has kinda given up and would rather play.

I asked the web...what is a irag and what is a funnie?

The web restates...checking what is Iraq? And, what is funny?

Then I asked the web how to spell business? Business. Then if that's the way you spell business then does it make any sense to shorten business by using buss...nope. Buss is a company that make electrical products.

Ok...now that I've taken my time to help my friend correctely spell these three words, he will never make these errors again.

The Osama bin Laden raid... "Legal" or "Illegal"? Was the military being used to serve an arrest warrant? Pakistan wasn't notified and therefore couldn't have consented.

Before we get wrapped up in anti-Bush rhetoric, we need to realize that we simply can't hold Bush to one set of standards and give everyone else, in the past or present, a pass on those same standards.

I'm not defending Bush. I'm just tired of hearing people whine about him. Its over, he's gone. He won't hurt you anymore....Now, let's fast forward to the present and start looking for a president that can get his head in the game.

But if every entity in town that got our money had to show me how they eliminated waste somewhere, how they did something that made them more productive, how they cut costs, tightened their belts, gave me more bang for my buck, before they could get or ask for any increases, we'd have a healthier city and some of us who vote No now might vote Yes in the future, also resulting in health and growth.

It actually could be done. You have a few local cities do that, then they'd force the county to. And then you have a grassroots initiative that can go somewhere.
