I see the news has all but cut the jugular vein.

Every things now save. Makes me want to run right down and sign up for a year,

Just another way of pushing more people away.

Should it and how much isn't ?

Seems to me the goal should be to make every thing possible here.

I thought the idea of a global market was to trade goods. Apperantly it's to ship away jobs to bolster the ole bottom line.

The same Nikes cost just as much ,just a lot more profit margin

If i'm not mistaken I think some of our ammunition is made over seas.

Yes Bob, it's about greed. There are people who demand lowest price no matter, there are companies who are required by their stockholders to make a profit even though the U.S. has the highest taxes that have to be paid, the unions refuse the pay and benefit levels to allow the necessary price to sell the product and there are many who say no to business that could add jobs and U.S. independence because they believe and cling to a political lie...

Greed?

The real tax rate after all their give me's is supposedly 15 %

The unions. How come it's always the little people with guys like you Kozy ?

Seems things worked real well for decades .The people made money and the companies made money. The companies used to care for their workers. Now your just a number.

We can do it your way . Lower wages and benefits and more poverty and gov, hands outs.

It isn't about making a profit. It's about getting the work done by slave labor and making a killing at the exspense of those people while the people in this country go hungry

It's nice the waltons are worth a little tiny 117 billion dollars and most of there employees qualify for gov, assistance at our exspense,

I know of very few unions that haven't taken wage cuts, wage freezes.and cuts in their benefits

Biggest % of people on welfare arev working. and can't seem to live on $ 8.00 to $10.00/hr. Can you ?

The point of manufacturing all military equipment in the U.S. should not be about who it employs. It should be about maintaining the ability to keep producing that equipment in wartime with no concerns for external supply lines.

Once again, bug...you didn't comprehend what I wrote. I stated fact as I know them from owning businesses and knowing tax rates here and competetion overseas. I have said over and over many times that unions are not all bad, they are made up of people who in most cases want to live well. What I have found in most cases is that the over reach comes from the heads of the unions. So stop making up stuff...Obama does enough of that for everyone.

But in fact, we need to reduce the tax rates and many of the tax breaks and especially the overbearing regulations and let out system work.

How many companies have you owned?

How many dollars in sales, taxes and fees on those companies have you budgeted for or used to price a product?

How many regulations have you had to follow just to keep your company open and continue paying wages and offering benefits.

How many customers have you had to find ways to please so that they gave your company another order which keep a cash flow which allows you to pay your bills?

How many houses have you put on line or your pension or use all your savings to buy a company or make a payroll or pay for materials?

The real shame is that you take advantage of our freedom to speak even though you make your comments only because others who have never had any experience tell you something political and you repeat it.

I only ask that you stop disagreeing and hating and open your eyes.

Just type into a search bar: corporate tax in the US compared to other countries.

The next line you will see in every article is: highest in the world.

I had read an article in a British paper earlier this summer talking about why they were on the upswing with companies and business and why we weren't. I was a little shocked to see what they were writing and how they viewed us, and then I found out it was all true. Depressing is what it was.

" I only ask that you stop disagreeing and hating and open your eyes."

Good luck with that.

I think I've got it. Bug is the 'smelly man' that lives across from the spring on Egypt Rd, preaching that all the evils of the Country are because of the rich.

Like the rich communist union labor leaders.

Bug, you never have and never will understand supply and demand economics, and how prices or payrolls are established in the market place. I worked at KFC in Salem for $2.70 an hour when minimum wage was $3.35. If I was still there, making say 8 bucks an hour, would I be able to live on that? Of course not. But then again, if I was to stay in an entry level job, I'd have to deal with the long term affects of that. Most people do in fact move up in experience, opportunities and pay. But there's always someone pointing at low pay and saying it aint right; but it's normal and will always be there.

Please, I am not putting ladybug down. I only want him to see that folks who live with this stuff are not all bad and quite honestly know more about business and the taxes, regulations, profits, benefites and their costs, and marketing their products against huge odds and world wide competetion t han the people who he's listening to and repeating.

The last two elections prove my point...is there anyway to survive this mess?

I heard a sermon some time back where the Preacher asked the congregation who they would seek advice from if they had a child who was getting into trouble...

A newly wed couple?

A single successful businessman or woman?

A Psychologist with numerous degrees but no children?

A couple who had raised a couple good, well behaved kids who have grown up to be successful parents in there own rights?

Why?

What about a couple who wanted to save their marriage...

Would they seek advice from a couple who were on the verge of a divorce?

Would they ask a young couple in High School?

I wonder if they would ask a single college student?

Or would they talk to a couple who had been married for many years and showed much love for each other?

Is the answer a tough one?
