"Ok, I'll still go. Is 6 :( still the time? 7 seems a little saner, but I'll still do whatever. "

I'd prefer 7am myself.

When and where is breakfast and are you open for one more? I've met Kozy and would really love to meet the rest of the group.

Kozy, very sorry to hear about your wife's troubles, hope she recovers quickly and completely, of course I'll be praying that way, just a bit pentecostal after all.

Of course, asking if a man was cozy last time wasn't much better.

I know Kozy from last time and Ladybug too.

I'd like to meet Watchdog too. But does she have kids at home?

But maybe we can designate a table? The back one by the windows is where we were last time. Otherwise I may chicken out of asking men at tables if they are numb nuts!

Bad news, all. Kozy's bride either has a blood clot or has had a heart attack. They will most likely not make the trip to our lovely burg if that is the case. Please include her in your prayers if that is your way.

I'm still good for breakfast and hope to see my fellow conservative happy warriors.

I want some business advice from the merchant, and actually see the High Heels of Puncturing. Hope everyone shows.

Questioner, "While some may be short-sighted and look at taxation backwards (those businesses make a lot of money--make them pay more), that truly Is backwards and shortsighted." Not true, they're not looking backwards , but forward. The more taxes that are collected, the more of your and my money they have to redistribute. Most uninformed voters are not concerned about what's best for their city, state, or country, only how much money a politician will put in their own pockets. So the left knows exactly what they are doing, buying votes!

Trying to convince a liberal that U.S. business is disadvantaged is like trying to smell the number 9. They have become so anti business that they are blinded from the facts.

"U.S. corporate tax rate poised to become highest - Mar. 27, 2012"

"U.S. States Lead the World in High Corporate Taxes"

"We've heard it hundreds of times: the U.S. has the highest corporate income tax rate in the developed world. Combining the federal and weighted average state corporate income tax rates gives U.S. companies a 39% statutory rate."

I always find it comical when someone says "Your an idiot" but doesn't spell "you're" correctly. Some folks should stop trying to fight conservative common sense truths and go back to elementary school to learn English. I'm not grammar perfect, but then again, I'm not calling someone an idiot either.

And I'll repeat, while passing thru England, I read newspapers where they were gloating over their low corporate taxes and the high US taxes.

Talked about how foreign companies were leaving US and locating there.

High taxes also means lower paid workers, fewer jobs, higher prices to consumers, less expansion, poorer quality--it hurts all of us.

This Is Truth. Can easily be verified.

While some may be short-sighted and look at taxation backwards (those businesses make a lot of money--make them pay more), that truly Is backwards and shortsighted.

Not really a debatable issue as much as you might like it to be.

All too easy to blame the guy who has too much (or the guy who has too little) for all our woes.

But there are some tax reasons why the economy is not growing the way it could and until those are adjusted that's not going to change.
