"Nazi level police state sympathizer."

Longer and more defined apparently? lol

Mingus, if you're reading this man, don't know any buds that want a police state, ...to much paperwork. lol

Well, this page will disappear, but for the record, Grant shut up. He could not put up. Is sad, because he can have good comments when he isn't on a rant.

I may be incorrect with this next statement and Zero if I misinterpreted your statement correct me please and I will make a humble apology if I am wrong.

I believe that Zero was using that as sarcasm towards Mr. Mingus's view as cops being Nazi's of the State. Some of the most lethal gangs were big supporters of cop's being Nazi's.

Louigi and questioner if I may, back during the late 90's when gang growth and violence erupted in the US. Gang members were using the slang term, "POPO" with relevance to police officers.

During that time frame, "cops were literally at war with gangs to try and curb the violence spreading. The members of gangs refused to acknowledge police officers as authority and referred to them as "popo" and they classified officer's as just another "gang". The gang member views were in comparison to the things that Mr. Mingus referenced.

Cops being nothing more than "Nazi's" treading on their freedom to defend their territories regardless of the law or authority.

Their interpretation of how they read the Constitution. Freedom to kill or maim or rob at leisure for their personal protections under liberty and safety. They believed the Constitution gave them that right.

"Grant so there is no misunderstanding it....We can not have a LAWLESS NATION."

I agree with that statement watchdog. That is what our President is circumventing in the White House and that is exactly what we can't afford have happen in America.

I have mixed emotions on this ruling. I see it from all three sides of the argument. Cops, public and gov, good points watchdog and questioner.

But Questioner, I promise you, I never broke out tailights. lol

"Man, almost missed it. He likes the popo now???"

He sure didn't like the popo on another poll. Glad to see he has had a change of heart. If, it is sincere?

"In other words, PUT UP or SHUT UP."

I tried to get him to do the same on another poll topic. I made the horrible mistake by starting out with, "that is not completely the way it is or something to that affect and I was slammed with being a nazi police sympathizer.

I still don't follow his objections to what I wrote. Gosh, writing comment here makes you look left and right waiting for the onslaught of the name calling that leaves you with what the heck did I say wrong. I guess, there are those that are just touchy about everything.

Is it safe to comment? <grin>

NS, I found that statement TripleD made that I asked about earlier. It was under "As it stands now, Barack Obama's body of presidential work has been: good, bad, or mediocre?" (as was his statement about making money off of the healthcare system).

Grant, these comments disappeared since no one had written for awhile.

Ball is in your court:

From me: How did what I wrote make me a Nazi police state supporter?

From James: explain how my comment gave your non-rationalized mentality the full province to declare it makes me a "Nazi level police state sympathizer."

We are intelligent enough to understand you if you are intelligent enough to actually give us an argument, data, quote us, whatever.

We are also intelligent enough to see thru your bull.

I know others, here and on other posts, have asked you to explain yourself, which you normally don't do.

I tried to give you the benefit, thinking you misinterpreted me.

But now, I also will try. How did what I wrote make me a nazi police state supporter?

I am intelligent enough to understand, so lay it on out here.

Or what did I write that makes me a statist minion? Yes, I understand that term.

I'll use older terminology here: Don't sling crap--it may hit the fan for you.

And JamesAustin? And WatchDog? Answer James' question-- what in the world did he say that deserved your labeling (or should I say libeling?)

Feel free to keep it simple, but tell us what set you off. Quote me here, show me why you've chosen to call names.

In other words, PUT UP or SHUT UP.

GrantMingus I will ask you again to explain how my comment gave your non-rationalized mentality the full province to declare it makes me a "Nazi level police state sympathizer."

Sorry but "You realllllly don't get it." doesn't cut it.

Care to explain or avoid again, with those immature responses that clearly states, you are unable to explain it. Mingus if you can't have a civilized conversation with people that you don't agree or agree with, stop commenting. I want to hear the views of others, not your insults.

I too, like Louigi, don't understand your comment you pitched at watchdog. For that matter, questioners or mine. I thought watchdog's post would be something you agree with especially since you are full constitution rein. What exactly is your objection on her post? I don't think you had one. That again, was just your way to insult her. I think you just like annoying people and people are tired of it.

Take questioner's advice.

Grant, you can have insightful commentary, which I appreciate.

You can have good back and forth arguments (with Mr Cahill, TripleD, a councilman; over healthcare, minimum wage, marijuana, etc) which I also appreciate.

But when you drift from the actual issues into personal put-downs, you lose all the rest of us.

I do think you misinterpreted what I wrote, and I think you let personal animosity influence how you view what watchdog writes.

When you say stuff like the rest of us aren't smart enough to get what you wrote--well, go back and read what you wrote. You made no arguments for or against this ruling, you didn't take a point someone else made and logically disagree with it, you just tore into us as people.

You can do this more maturely, so please, do. I like reading what you write when it is issue specific.

It's not surprising that most of you aren't smart enough to understand this. Especially when someone says they "wouldn't be surprised" if I thought free speech was only for me. You realllllly don't get it.

Further, we are a nation of laws, they should be applied equally to all. If someone appears to break one of those laws and law enforcement finds probable cause for a warrant, they are simply doing their job.

Compared to some of you, I haven't posted very often, but I would read daily to keep up with the issues. Lately I had stopped checking in because of the vitriol Triple D brought to the table. That said, I agree with Watchdog's first and subsequent posts, and I don't get Grant's objections.

But above all, the psychopath does not seem to be able to tell right from wrong and, as a result, does sometimes commit or connive at murders and other heinous crimes with what seems to be a clear conscience.

Now who fits this medical observation?
