Should something as simple and harmless as an Easter egg hunt for children be immune from "political correctness" activists?

  1. Yes
  2. No

I agree, ts...this is a Holy week and a time to color some eggs and eat some ham and think about what God has done for us. No more politics for me this week. Thanks for pointing that out...Joe

Forget political correctness, it should be immune from politics in general. Can the idiot adults just shut up for a half hour and enjoy watching their kids have fun?

BTW, what do you think about the latest...

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Social Security Administration is suspending a program in which thousands of people were having their tax refunds seized to recoup overpayments that happened more than a decade ago.

While this policy of seizing tax refunds to repay decades old SS overpayments might be the law, is it just?

The SSA says it has identified about 400,000 people with old debts. They owe a total of $714 mill. So far, the agency says it has collected $55 mill.

The program was authorized by the democrats who had the Presidency and majorities in the house and senate by a 2008 change in the law that allows SS and other federal agencies to use a Treasury program to seize federal payments to recoup debts that are more than 10 yrs old. In most cases, the seizures are tax refunds.

The democrats are after you, bug...but the Eater Bunny is still cute!

"Political correctness is a tool of the socialists in and out of government to further the creeping social Marxism in our society."

Sounds like something that alex jones would say!

April 12, 2014 "Science Can't Disprove Existence of God" by Alan Lightman, Washington Post

"In “Einstein, God, and the Big Bang,” a colorful chapter of his new book, Amir D. Aczel maintains that Albert Einstein truly believed in God. He points out that Einstein attended synagogue during his year in Prague (1913). He repeats several famous Einstein utterances mentioning the Deity: “Subtle is the Lord, but malicious he is not” and “I want to know God’s thoughts — the rest are details.”"

Interesting...

Notice, no hate here...

"1 John: (4)But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. (5)Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, & the world listens to them. (6)But we belong to God, & those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception.

(7)Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God & knows God. (8)But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

(9)God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him. (10)This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us & sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins."

Psalm 118: (4) Let those who respect the Lord say, "His love continues forever." (5) I was in trouble, so I called to the Lord. The Lord answered me and set me free. (6) I will not be afraid, because the Lord is with me. People can't do anything to me.

Now, as far as the Easter Bunny...he or she is cute and if people hate the Easter Bunny, what can we say?

But, really friends... Jesus was mocked and ridiculed. Are we better than our LORD?

Do we really expect the "world" to accept the Truth...no but we must keep on sharing and praying and persevering. Jesus is alive and well and He will return.

"Hopefully when it gets its new job it will be too busy to bother us"

New job? I feel sorry for the employer. 3d will sneeze and some co-worker will say God Bless you and "it" will come unglued and go into a paranoid fit he was harmed by another co-worker and his employer did nothing to protect him.

Can you believe atheists are fighting to get protection laws from this? This is as insane as it gets. It is getting crazier as we go.

Donald, how about you as an athesist explain to us as Christians, as you obviously hate, how our belief HARMS YOU? Don't just say it does, tell us HOW.

Then you tell us how a child on an Easter egg hunt is offensive or harmful to you if that child refuses to accept your non belief? How is that a "PROBLEM" for YOU?

TripleD sez: "There is no tolerance for freedom of expression for the atheist. The atheist has no rights, no freedom of speech as far as the christians are concerned."

No you don't have a right to freedom of speech as far as Christians go. Because YOU ARE ATTACKING THEIR FREEDOM OF SPEECH and their religion and belief you weasel.

As far as I am concerned. I don't care what you believe or have to say about why you don't believe. Nobody said one word about any atheist or started out attacking your belief. YOU DID. Don't cry now. You brought all of this on yourself. You don't want to believe. Your choice, but do NOT TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO BELIEVE as you did with your very first INSULTING COMMENT.

And thanks for proving me right you HYPOCRITE. You see 3Delusional, YOU want to keep talking about it by provoking the argument and trashing Christians. That is all miserable little atheists want to do.

I'm trying to think if I would have called out D3 on what he wrote if I had no strong religious beliefs one way or the other. (Grant called him on something and I thought that was valid.)

I think I might have. Like Grant said, he was picking a fight pretty much just so he could yell and point fingers when someone responded.

He can have his beliefs, and have strong beliefs, but we still capitalize names, and to be deliberately provoking and disrespectful, yeah, I'd like to think I would have said something regardless.

Beaumont, not sure who that was directed to, but a quick question.

People all go off here on what they believe about drugs, repubs and dems, guns, health care, the fire dept, gay marriage, etc, but religion is off-limits?

Or maybe just quoting the Bible? Or the proselytizing parts?

But all religious (or atheistic or agnostic) beliefs shouldn't be off-limits, should they?

A common effect on a person that has chugged the kool-aid is that the person is left with no understanding that kool-aid has been chugged.

You see...

But we have this treasure...to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

2 Corinthians 4:7–9

In this passage, the apostle Paul assures us that there is something strong and forceful within the believer, and it is godly. Every Christian is a walking powerhouse, guaranteed by the presence and power of Christ and the Holy Spirit.

So we get that you hate us and we just love you back...because Go love us so!
