The only thing the ACA did was guarantee the fat, unhealthy lazy pigs of this country that refuse to work and buy their own healthcare coverage get their crappy, unhealthy lifestyles paid for by everyone else.
ACA was a scam and it got Obama elected. PERIOD.

"Contrary to the ignorant rhetoric constantly being spread by the right, the government has not taken over healthcare."
Of course Obama didn't take over our healthcare. He destroyed it.
TripleD, are you confused? One minute you are pumping out the ACA fixed all that and now control Insurance companies and now you claim, ACA didn't fix it and the Insurance giants are still getting rich off our premiums. Which is it?
Or are you saying Obama climbed in bed with the Insurance Industry and forced every American to fund their million dollar profits with our tax dollars by making it mandatory by law to pay them? Therefore, giving the Government the right to tax us to pick up the difference of what we are not willing to be forced to pay by fining us to guarantee the profits the Insurance Industry was getting?
Executive compensation isn't the only reason health care costs are so high. Hospital procedures have grown more costly and doctor's fees have also risen. The ACA didn't fix ANYTHING. It is a disastrous joke.
You know TripleD. I have come to the conclusion. YOU don't know what the hello the ACA has done or hasn't done.
"First time I have heard about gun pointing." It is somewhere in the ACA that has too many pages for them to read.

"Working for the government, are we?" Contrary to the ignorant rhetoric constantly being spread by the right, the government has not taken over healthcare. Your healthcare premiums still continue to make the 1% richer. The total compensation for the top four executives under Ms. Braly at Wellpoint totaled $20 million in 2009, meaning Wellpoint paid out $33 million just to its top five executives. The median pay for a health insurance company CEO last year was $11 million, according to a recent report from Equilar, the executive compensation analysis firm. Up until passage of the ACA, Healthcare was taking over the government, not the other way around.
I still use Windows XP for some Healthcare Interface software testing. In those cases I am simply using a tested and accepted tool on a machine dedicated to running that specific tool. Windows 7 has Windows Virtual PC with Windows XP mode that I find works pretty well for almost everything I ran on Windows XP.
Programs, systems, they're all the same to me. It's a box with a keyboard. I look forward to retirement when I'll have no computer at all. Other than the gov't trying to find some way to tax me to death, I'll be off the grid.
Windows 8 is certainly a disaster.

Windows is not really a system just a program. Mac is a system. They need to stop supporting XP so they can sell you a new computer since windows 8.1 ***** so bad, people still love XP and use 7 if they can get it.
Linux works well on a Mac.
I am not going to buy a new computer they just want to scare people into buying a new computer.

The company I.T. guys made us all switch to some new system. Computers are a pain in the butt no matter how new and improved they supposedly are.
Windows 95 still works fine.
