NO NO NO the only reason the "7 million" finally signed up is because we can't afford to be fined .. its not because we support it or the president .. it is a bad bad bad idea and no one that supported it or voted on it really understands it .. we pay for most of their health care and most of them get it till they die .. they have no idea what us common folk go through trying to survive these days

Another freebie on the back of the working stiffs.

Who do you thinks paying for all those without insurance now ?

Everytime one of those people go to the emergency room or hospital to their care.

"You can't spin that. But I know who will try. " I do not need to spin it because it is BS. More people now support the ACA than do not regardless of you pathetic attempts at word games. The ACA was exactly what was needed to control the runaway Insurance Companies. A single payer system would have been better but this is the United States Congress and the ACA is the simply best we could do. Republicans could have never passed any meaningful healthcare reform. They are not the self-sacrificing types. As a result of the Affordable Care Act the Republicans will probably win the Senate this year, but they will never win the 2/3 majority needed to repeal the ACA. By the end of 2016 there will be 30 million insured under the ACA. CBO estimates clearly show that more people will have insurance with Obamacare than without Obamacare. You can spin that anyway you want but any attempt to take away health insurance from 30 milion people in 2016 will lose you both the Senate and House

"no one that supported it or voted on it really understands it" I understand it and I do not have a staff to tell me what is in it. When are you going to give up on the idea that democrats did not know what was in that bill. You based that whole line of BS on then-Speaker Pelosi, in a speech before the Legislative Conference for the National Association of Counties, sating, “But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of controversy.” She said so that 'you' can find out what is in it, away from the 'fog of controversy.' The fog of lies and death panels that were being spread at the time. Saying you do not understand it just shows your refusal to read and learn. It is sad really that so many refuse to read the facts.

You can turn a blind eye to how the business community is responding to this mess, but that doesn't make it progress.

TripleD sez: "You can spin that anyway you want but any attempt to take away health insurance from 30 milion people in 2016 will lose you both the Senate and House"

What 30 million people? And who is trying to take away healthcare insurance from anyone? TripleD show me one proposal on the table where the Republicans are going to take away healthcare from anyone.

The only person who took away healthcare insurance from the people was Obama when those 7.9 million people lost their insurance, their Doctors and their hospitals UNDER the ACA law.

"Republicans could have never passed any meaningful healthcare reform. They are not the self-sacrificing types."

Self-sacrificing? You mean they refuse to make hard working Americans pick up the tab of lazy Americans who don't want to work for living? Because I got news for you. NOBODY owes anybody else in American ANYTHING and NOBODY should be sacrificed to fix a broken health care system that a greedy healthcare industry destroyed.

The question should be when will YOU give up on it since you are the only one that keeps bringing it up and crying about it all the time?

So, they had 4 years to do it, and there are still over 50 million without insurance, and next year there will be tens of millions more losing their good insurance plans.

Are the left-wing nut cases REALLY that mentally delusional? Is the left-wing press REALLY that stupid? Are the radical left-wing marxists who hijacked the democrat party going to get away with the destruction of the health care in the world while crushing individual choice and freedom?

Maybe qucity. while tour making your talking points you could offer up your solution to the continued rise of costs at the rate of 10%+ over the last 15 years and the number without insurance growing everyday.

And there will be 10's of millions more living in poverty as we continue to wipe out the middle class

Which is now decreased to less than 40 % over the last 2 decades.

"The ACA was exactly what was needed to control the runaway Insurance Companies."

What runaway insurance companies? TripleD other than the fact that some denied coverage to pre-existing patients that was not buying healthcare coverage, got an illness and then cried when they needed coverage, get medical attention and then drop their health care policies.

Other than that, what is Obama doing to control insurance companies?

If it weren't for the ACA I would still be paying outrageous prices for meds I CANNOT live without and I would NEVER get approved for any healthcare because of my preexisting condition! My sister now qualifies, my friend now qualifies, and many others I know. And I'll add that the people I speak of are NOT what some refer to as "lazy people"! And the majority of the "lazy people" most refer to are in no way lazy, everyone should be forced to live a day in someone else's shoes before they judge that person!
