A Phoenix judge has spared the pit bull that mauled a child. Thousands rallied for the dog on Facebook. Would so many rally for a child?

The judge ordered the dog to be neutered, de-fanged and de-clawed.

Did the Judge order that the dog be sent to obedience school?

What did the Judge do to negligent pet owner?

Grant, that poll question was designed to point out the number of "ignorant people" who rallied for the dog, showed no compassion for the child and gave the owners of that dog a pass for their negligence when it came to their alleged pet.

This isn't rocket science Grant. It is common sense.

NOBODY rallied for the mauled child. NOBODY, it was all about the dog that went viral. Salem news stated FACTS.

Many more rally for children, literally hundreds of thousands more and there are tens of thousands of "support my child with cancer" pages, etc. And as Poollady mentioned, they spared the dogs life but they took measures to make sure it doesn't happen again--it's sort of a misleading poll question. This is really the best we can do in the online section that typically generates the most action on this page? I think we should rally for a new poll question writer at the Salem News.

There won't be a "next time", at least for this dog. The judge ordered the dog to be neutered, de-fanged and de-clawed

The next time this dog mauls a person and results in a death, I hope the owners and the judge are tried for murder. I have no idea why this posted twice, one blank. Sorry about that.
