Somehow, some way, some where that missing Malaysian jet or debris from it will be found. Right?

My youngest son thinks the aliens got it. Talking to kids about this is rough when your trying to keep a straight face.

Good point. I guess what makes this matter so mysterious is that just about every theory and speculation put forth has some fundamental flaw contained within it that seems to make it improbable.

"If (whoever) ordered it to be shot down for that reason then the simple cover story could be that the plane was hijacked and the heroic passengers resisted, etc., etc. leaving the plane scattered across the bottom of the ocean."

Possibility! But the problem with that theory, I don't think the Malaysian's are that advanced. I think America may have that one down to a science. LOL

rpmwwe, your remarks are part of the endless possibilities that we all face in our different thoughts.

Taking into consideration that there was 13 different nationalities amongst those passengers all aboard that plane.

I don't see a happy ending response that would satisfy everyone. Admission of the truth would be even disastrous in it's own way.

With the information put out so far, I'm wondering if the crew was promised or given something by a terrorist organization to simulate a hijacking and then land the plane in a remote area where designated so actual gunmen could board the plane and claim to have actually hijacked it, but along the way there was an unplanned event that caused the plane to crash.

I'm not sure about the WMD on board idea. If (whoever) ordered it to be shot down for that reason then the simple cover story could be that the plane was hijacked and the heroic passengers resisted, etc., etc. leaving the plane scattered across the bottom of the ocean. I'm not suggesting that is what has happened in the past with flight 93 as there is no clear evidence that occurred. I'm just suggesting the story would work in an actual shoot down event. A larger disaster would be averted, there would be no bad sentiments against the gov't that shot it down, and it would bring quick closure for the families.

Yes, WatchDog, there are so many possibilities and none good for those who bought a ticket.

Do you know what I see missing from the equation in questions?

Was it intentionally shot down? What if Putin and if need be, replace Putin's name with Obama, choose the leader of any country, had Intel that the specific flight was carrying some sort of weapon of mass destruction and it was intercepted and taken down. A decision was made to sacrifice the lives of those on board to protect millions of lives.

Could the public handle that truth? I don't think I want to know the full truth.

Kozy, with the wave of our society and the politicians and their drives for power instead of progress. That question could be a honest asked possibility.

Just look at how this is unfolding. It is past the point now of it being about those families and the victims.

When you have elected officials in the U.S. stomping out, "we should be in charge of this investigation".

Keyword, investigation. I doubt seriously we will ever know the truth behind this plane. We will get told enough to pacify our curiosity. That is a fact.

Sorry, didn't mean to make it a joke but a really silly question. They have that plane up to seven hours out from it's last message and our Salem News wants us to comment on whether it will be found...the only person who is taking things right now is Putin. So...could it be?

Of course, the liberals might just take it and the Supreme Court would just call it a tax.

Seriously, I really hope they are found alive and returned to their loved ones.

Kozy, I'm surprised at you, joking about this. (But I still smiled)

Maybe the Russians took it?
