WatchDog, You are absolutely correct. What ever you say.

No doubt you find humor in this TripleD. But you remember all of this when ACA destroys a lot of people. Including people just like you.
This has never been about our healthcare, this is about that National Debt and deficit. So hows it feel to be a sacrificial lamb?
ACA was designed to FAIL.

Triple D blows smoke with: "The more expensive the insurance companies can make any procedure or service, the more profit they can make from it."
You must really believe people are all stupid and easy to manipulate to believe that manure you just spread.
But hey thanks for the advance help. I don't have insurance and the next time my Doctor and the other 3 Doctors that he consults with, who get their piece of the pie and everybody else from radiologists, etc etc etc who sends me allthose bills. I think I will write back to them and ask them to specifically HIGHLIGHT how much is their profit for services and how much on that same bill is the imaginary insurance companies parts and profit!
questioner, I totally agree that the roll out of the ACA has indeed gone very, very badly. I can also tell you that we desperately need the ACA to work. It may be our last chance to control runaway healthcare spending. As someone who works in healthcare and has designed and wrote numerous healthcare insurance and billing interfaces for multiple hospital vendors, I can tell you that the insurance portion of healthcare costs is one of the most wasteful. A health insurance policy basically consists of a cost plus contract between insurance companies and the patient. The more expensive the insurance companies can make any procedure or service, the more profit they can make from it.
As far as the breakfast goes, I was not the one who began talking about throwing people out of windows, nor am I the one who stated that those seeking to do so would find plenty of assistance if needed. I am hoping for a peaceful breakfast without any drama.
TripleD, I'll play nice at breakfast. I gotta say, I am tired of this subject--I've passed on several quotes I could have copied after Obama's last statements. I can accept that you and many more feel a law like the ACA is 100% right for the citizenry. I think several parts of it are right. (I also think it doesn't handle our biggest problem of too high health costs though.) But you must acknowledge that this is not going well. However right you feel the concept was, the actual enactment is not so great. Right?

No need to release me...it won't happen from the "right"...
Kozy62, First, My question concerning your groups intentions was directed to notSocialist who had stated that if watchdog tried to throw me out a window, there would be a lot of help if needed. Second, I do not believe I need anyone to defend me, I was simply curious as to what the groups intentions might be. Third, You can rest easy, I release you from any responsibility for my safety.
I don't believe Mr. Obama can be impeached because he doesn't know anything about anything.
Attacks...not unless you start something and even then I will do everything I can to stop it and I just might be bigger and stronger than the rest. This is a time to just be nice, have a meal together and show that we can...ok!
When I said, " "Heck, I may go now just to see if watchdog can throw me out of a window."
You said, "I'd wager she would have a lot of help, if needed."
Is that what I can expect from the conservatives at this breakfast. Are you all going to attack me at once or are you going to try going at me one at a time to see if you can wear me down?
Just curious, it really does not make any difference to me.
Kozy, Why doesn't the U.S. House of Representatives just Impeach him for the High Crimes that you said he has committed? Oh, that's right, in order to Impeach a sitting President you have to have more than just Lies and False stories. That must be why the House has not moved an inch in any kind of Impeachment proceedings against this President.

Kozy62, "Now if he only resigned." It is good to see that you are finally willing to admit that has been your goal all along.
From the NY Times...
"A contrite-sounding Mr. Obama repeatedly blamed himself on Thursday for the failed health care rollout, which he acknowledged had thrust difficult burdens on his political allies and hurt Americans’ trust in him." (almost)
“It’s legitimate for them to expect me to have to win back some credibility on this health care law in particular and on a whole range of these issues in general,” Mr. Obama said. The president did not admit to misleading people about whether they could keep their insurance, but again expressed regret that his assurances turned out to be wrong.(well no it was lying)
“To those Americans, I hear you loud and clear,” Mr. Obama said as he announced changes intended to allow some people to keep their insurance."(and I this even possible now that you messed things p so badly)
But, even he admits to failing...more than those who give him a pass on everything! Good for him. Now if he only resigned.
POLITICO...By SEUNG MIN KIM | 11/14/13 6:45 PM EST
"President Barack Obama issued a rare presidential apology when he expressed remorse for promising to Americans that they could keep their insurance plans if they liked their current coverage.
Don’t expect the same “I’m sorry” from House Democratic leaders. In a news conference Thursday after a meeting with White House officials, the top four Democrats said they won’t apologize for that promise, instead defending the language of the Affordable Care Act — their prized legislative achievement."
It mattes not if healthcare is destroyed or if millions lose their insurance...Pelosi, Reid and others could care less. How on earth do they keep getting elected?
D3, Payment change.
My current policy was in effect to renew (we had already renewed) for Dec.
My policy was an "acceptable" policy--it wasn't a change in the policy itself.
Kozy, that's pretty cool; a Salem get together all the way down in Florida. Unfortunately I don't get that far south. My inlaws live in the Panhandle, near Tallahassee.
questioner, What was the change?
Just got a letter from my ins. agent. Here is the last sentence:
We apologize for any inconvenience, but this change was due to the Affordable Care Act.

Yes, Mtlhed...a long way home. Plans are to see as many family members and friends as we can. At my age, you just don't know.
Cape Coral is beautiful. Are you going to make the Salem get together, February 15th at the Shell Factory in N. Ft. Myers. We have a good time with good food at a reasonable price. Last year, Earl Bruce even gave us a pep talk. I'm passing the word but Richard Hary is the person carrying the load right now, with others filling in the gaps as they come South.
Kozy, Cape Coral, now that's way down there. Looks like we're both a long ways from the original homestead.
Kozy62, I admit that President Obama is really taking a beating over Obamacare. Since I happen to know that Obamacare is the right thing to do, I still approve of him even if I do not approve of the web site roll out. I think it was not Socialist that brought up the Heritage Foundation the other day. I found it very interesting that in 1989 the Heritage healthcare plan included an individual mandate. So it appears that the Right was for an individual mandate before they were against it. What was it that they called Kerry during the 2004 Election? I believe they called him a flip flopper. Kind of funny when you think about it now.
