I'm repeating a comment I just made elsewhere: Anyone want to tie this in to the council article talking about how much less money we for sure will have next year?

Maybe you and GO or I mean qucity can hook up and can sneak around together.

For a person who complains about everyone else,

What have volunteered for or got involved

That's right it's much easier to set back and complain,Like others tell you,run for something put your money where your big mouth is,

"Don't start with your mouth watchdog."

By now I thought you would figure out that isn't about to happen.

"Ive' voiced my opinion."

Did somebody tell you that you couldn't? I really thought by now you would be over these ranting temper tantrums and these pathetic pointless attempted smack downs that doesn't get you anywhere.

"It was wiether or they would fill in as volunteers if the Salem Dept was reduced,

And since they are volunteers they can*****well chose "

Really, well guess you can tell yourself and them this...don't let the door hit them in the****on the way out! Because if they all the hideous attitude you have towards the public I don't think it would be a huge loss.

Maybe you take the time to understand mutual aid.

Instead running your mouths.

The people of Perry and Salem have spoken with their voices several times. So quit beating a dead horse.

I guess you don't know the difference between reducing duplication and duplicating services,

"duplication" ... as I alluded to. I guess you post so many times with so much wandering, randomness, and incoherence it is hard to keep track of.

The bottom line is, any community that has the ability to reallocate $600,000 PER YEAR in valuable resources to target issues of higher priority should do it, ASAP.

A vote? That was a conceited moment wasn't it?

"And now you wants us to save your worthless hides."

Worthless? Save our "hides" if you mean what I think you meant with that misspelled word. Ladybug that is what causes problems when ego's and pride override common sense. You seem to forget something in all this. It's not what you or dozen fire fighters want ...it is what the taxpayers want. They want effective and efficient services. Firefighters are employees of the taxpayers. They don't own those departments.

You keep forgetting something here. All across this nation, many many fire departments are combining with townships and they are saving tons of money with that very same plan qcityfan is talking about. It is actual fact. The costs for local fire department operations have more than doubled in the past 6 years. It takes a lot of issues to be worked out for it to happen however. They have to form a commission to over see it. All the fancy equipment in the world is useless without the man power

Again. If this is so wonderful is not about the City or the Twn,

Then sharing the savings should go to both communities to improve services.

Your only concern is saving the city $600000.

If you new half of what you thought you did,

You would understand there is a mutual aid agreement with all the surrounding depts.,

Meaning a phone or radio call will bring you or us all the help we need,

The house that burnt out on 62 last week had 4 area depts. involved." all at no cost to each other "

ladybug simply cannot see the forest for the trees. Perry only residents would immediately benefit from access to additional (city) equipment. The combinded department would save hundreds of thousands in tax dollars, some of which could be spent on even newer equipment etc... but most of which should be spent on fighting drug & criminal elements. By doing this, all residents of THE COMMUNITY would have enhanced property values and a better quality of life. ALL residents, not just one group or another.

This is not about Perry vs Salem, or Salem vs Perry, this should be about the community at large, and what is best for the whole of the community, and how best to EFFICIENTLY deliver services to the entire community.

Everyone will benefit; let's get on with it.
