you sit holding your breath and wish to God that just one time he would say: "So all you race baiting monger politicians and news media can knock it off and let our country heal itself."

But unfortunately he won't because it is an undeniable fact that the rich powerful blacks of our nation can not afford to have racism die. That is why we have the Sharptons and the Jackson's of the world to continue to keep the blacks polarized, victimized and insecure about the color of their skin or these two would actually have to find REAL JOBS!!

Prez Obama said this: "Each successive generation seems to be making progress in changing attitudes when it comes to race. It doesn’t mean we’re in a post-racial society. It doesn’t mean that racism is eliminated. But when I talk to Malia and Sasha, and I listen to their friends and I seem them interact, they’re better than we are -- they’re better than we were -- on these issues. And that’s true in every community that I’ve visited all across the country."

This is going to shock people coming from me. This is one of the very few things that has come out of this man's mouth I almost agree with him on and in his attempt to be sincere. (Considering this racist nation elected him as the first black president).

It is one of those rare moments however...

"The jury did not feel they had enough evidence to convict. Enough said. When we allow our emotions to this to divide us. They need to be held responsible for putting lies out, influencing the public, and race baiting" This is the right post!

The jury did not feel they had enough evidence to convict. Enough said. When we allow our emotions to decide a legal case we risk losing all of our rights. The media used this to divide us. They need to be held responsible for putting lies out, influencing the public, and race baiting.

I agree, concerned...between the media and the President, it's just a means of turning us against each other and trying to gain political points.

Wouldn't we be better off if we just spent out time and effort praying for healing?

Ok lets keep the politics out of for a change

How you going to keep politics out of it when you have a President of the United States getting on national TV and saying if he had a son he would have looked like Martin. I would say he is the one that put this in the poitical spotlight. Now the feds might bring charges. Give me a break this whole thing is political. what makes the difference what color the victim was or who he could or could not have look like??

The local police and prosecutors would not bring charges for lack of evidence,

The prosecutors wittnesses even during the trail believed Zimmerman was telling the truth.

Stand your ground and concealed carry is supported in Florida

We can only hope that with some additional info that wasn't allowed in the trial now released (Martin texting someone that he could knock the guy out with 1 punch, for example), that reason will prevail and this will drop. I don't believe it will end as too many people have agendas and want this case to be their sounding board, but I can hope it is over.

The problem was that this did not got to the grand jury for indictment. The special prosecutor that handled the case determined that the case would go to court. It wouldn't have surprised me if had he been found guilty that it would have been an issue that the defense would have appealed on. The whole thing was really just a political issue that was pushed by the Obama administration. The local authorities did not think there was enough evidence to get a conviction that was when the special procecutor came on the scene and determined that it was going to trial by passing the grand jury procedure. But hey it is Fla what do you expect you know the land of the hanging chads.

Trevon Martin mother and Lawyers said during trail this was not race motivated.

It's a*****witch hunt by a few ,that will end up stirring up the whole country for a news story.

I don't believe the Florida Attorney General had anything to do with this...I thought it was the head District Attorney. I will double check that.
