Cross, Star of David, Explosive vest.

I like that they call them "emblems of belief"--because there is a system of belief, of "faith" in your viewpoint, for All of them. (You may be flat-out wrong, but....)
I never knew that...thanks, Bob.

Beaumont, Are you saying that where it can say Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, it can say Atheist as well?
Vets put to rest in all national cemeteries can have Atheists on their stone. o what is the problem?
Atheism is its own 'religion'.
So too is the religion of earth worship, which is sublimely practiced by many in the EPA and other organizations who continue to thrust this religion onto the masses, via government fiat. If there ever was a necessity to halt the government from establishing a religion it is now, and it is to stop these radicals from encroaching on the rights and lives of a supposed free people.

Right on, Questioner...
It's odd--in the government schools you can't talk about prayer, God (which is a right in the constitution under freedom of speech) because of the "rule" (?) about separation of church and state, which is Not in the constitution.
If you leave out something bigger than we are, what you get is man's heart and desires ruling. Some may think that sounds good--not me.
But don't forget--the atheists said their monument serves a purpose; it's a bench. (I guess in contrast to the Ten Commandments which in their minds serve no purpose?)

But, considering there have been those who have attempted to disprove God and with no success, it is by faith in God vrs faith in nothing that humans debate.
That's as much sense as convincing a patrolman that you didn't see the stop sign or you have never been born, or the world is flat.
WatchDog, I could take your post, flip every word around to make it be an atheist saying that stuff about Christians, and it's just as accurate (and how I feel about it)
In other words...
The crack pots running the government don't want you believing in any powers higher than them.

The radical politics of history has had a tendency to be secular and it is for very good reason. The operating methods of such politics seldom can function on their own merits and therefore demands that the populace governed be fully indoctrinated into a belief system in which all doubt in the system is eradicated, regardless of actual outcome. This intensity of the belief system must be on par, or better, than traditional religious belief systems. In either case, a significant amount of faith is required in the absence of empirical evidence.

Just more proof that extreme politics is really just a substitute for the religion they despise.

Right? Sure they do and the best part about it...WHO GIVES A CRAP. Atheists are pin heads. They are just miserable little pukes that are not happy unless they are inflicting misery on some one else. They are wasting their breath yapping on and on. I believe in God and NOTHING they erect, say or do will EVER change that. Never!!
Just aak the Supreme Court and all you politicians
