If the part D drug plan is so offensive to you , bug, why do you support it by using it? Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

"According to link: Hans Blix U.N. Chief weapons inspecter feels Hussien destroyed the weapons in summer 1991 after Gulf War "

Read your post again. "Weapons inspector feels'. Who cares what he feels?

I read the top non-paid article on five consecutive pages from my fav search engine, and all said Blix 'believed' or 'evidence supports' the WMDs were destroyed.

Not one said 'yes, they WERE destroyed.' Not one said 'here is the proof of their destruction.

Ask yourself this: Where did Syria get theirs?

Whoo-ee. It's kinda fun to read the comments backwards, starting at the newest, several days after the postings started. You would NEVER know what the comments started out being about!

"The tax breaks cost the tax payer appr. 100 billion/yr "

Don't you really mean, "The tax breaks cost the NON-TAXPAYERS appr. 100 billion/yr "?

Since a taxpayer not giving up more money to the government doesn't make the taxpayer poorer, I'll assume that is what you were trying to say. Understandably, the entitlement folk do see limits in subsidies if the tax revenues are not maximized.

"Hey, decades later, who remembers or actually uses 80% of the crap we were taught anyways."

Nobody. Because it wasn't and has never been about education. It's about justifying education and the job demands that came with it.

Military sexual assaults still up? Then both sides should be screaming justice for the VICTIMS.

Time to fire every commander who covers up these assaults? NO, They need PROSECUTED for it. The Commander in Chief should be leading charge to put an end to it, not protect his personal political agenda.

Does anyone remember when "Government was of the people, by the people and for the people?" "WE THE PEOPLE".

United we stand, divided we fall? All you have to do is read these comments every day and it's easy to figure out why our country is failing so miserably.

When political party affiliation and how to protect the power of that party and it overriding right and wrong...that is how we all lose. Whether your Republican or Democrat.

We don't have a system of Government that works anymore. Our two party system is failing us. It's not about progress, it about political power. Congress is not effective.

Our Commander in Chief should be leading the charge on this matter.

Like I said...remember when it was actually about "we the people"? We have an obligation and a responsibility to keep checks and balances within our own parties. If you don't get to the center of aisle then this country WILL NEVER be whole again.

I remember Mr. Hoopes. He was engaging and a great teacher. He knew how to get and keep the attention of his students. Similar to the science teacher Mr. Haines (sp?) Hey, decades later, who remembers or actually uses 80% of the crap we were taught anyways.

Now, on the original poll question. You haven't seen nothing yet. Just wait until they let women on the front lines and in active combat. Then you'll see how bad and how numerous sexual assaults can really get. From both the enemy as well as friendlys.

But I know I'm wasting my time explaining it to liberals. They'll never get it, as they see all our money as belonging to the gov't anyways.

It drives me insane when someone says that a tax break costs the government and therefore the taxpayers money. By definition that's impossible. A tax break only results in the government receiving less money, at least initially. Tax breaks work because we the people then spend that money for fuel, food, goods, vacations, etc. This money is a shot of adrenaline to the economy and the sales (and other)taxes off of that go back to the government anyways; and end up giving the Gov't more money than they would have received by having no tax break.

"2 tax breaks,2wars and a drug plan during those yrs without anf off sets the republicans cry about now before passing anything. "

My Mom loved the drug plan. Many people do. Are you using it?

ObamaCare will now add almost 3 trillion to our nation debt. You must be REALLY upset about that! In order to be consistent, that is.

" I think the country hitting dumpsville kind of going down hill about 2007 & 2008 "

Yup. The housing bubble burst, because Democrat policies forced banks to lend to people that had no chance of paying the loans back. Look up the stories on the 'Red Lines', and Obama's hand in it.

This is why you can't be taken seriously, bug. You rant and spew with no facts to back you up. When asked for a source you get wise. You don't even have a link to post, do you?

"Wrong on the WMD, They where destroyed after the Gulf War and never replaced, "

Really? When, exactly? And by whom?

"Fast and Furious was started by Bush "

You're wrong about that. "Project Gunwalker" was started by Bush. It allowed chip-tagged weapons to cross the border, with the Mexican government's knowledge and approval. These weapons were then tracked using the imbedded chips. When the bad guys figured that out, the project was curtailed.

"Fast and Furious" was started by Obama, Holder, and company to allow weapons to cross the border without being tracked, no chips. The Mexican government was not informed. There was no way to track the weapons once they left the US. Hundreds of Mexicans were killed with these weapons. Two Americans were killed.

There is no comparison between the two programs.

I am going to save this article so I can just copy and paste this comment, in case I have to explain this to you yet AGAIN.

The wars will reportidly cost the tax well over 6 to 7 trillion before it's all; said and done.

The tax breaks cost the tax payer appr. 100 billion/yr

And the drug plan around 50 to 60 billion/yr.
