Yep, thank you Mr. Obama. We are so much worse off than a little over four years ago.

Did you notice how nice I've been in thanking Mr. Obama for everything. Do you notice how the liberals have gone into hiding. I guess that means if I thank Mr. Obama all liberals stay away....thank you, thank you, thank you, etc.

At the time, President Barack Obama said the deal “enshrines … a principle into law that will remain in place as long as I am president: The deficit needs to be reduced after we spend more and if anything is left over, in a way that’s balanced, including additional taxes”
“They haven’t established anything,” “All they’ve established is they want to spend at all costs, and they keep themselves in power by spending it and saying how compassionate they are with everybody else’s money.”
"There will be no last-minute, backroom deal and absolutely no agreement to increase taxes," Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Friday as he prepared to meet with congressional leaders and Obama at the White House.
Thank you Mr. Obama for trying to break us financially.
Thank you Mr. Obama for wanting us to be like Spain...
SPAIN'S JOBLESS HITS RECORD 5 MILLION...
Homeless taking over vacant buildings...
What a record and what a legacy!
Thank you Mr. Obama...the whole world is watching the United States drop to it's lowest point ever in it's economy and it's morals! You are leaving a legacy that no one will forget.
Yes, Mr. President, you should be so proud of the fiscal disaster you are dumping us into.
It's an historic achievement for Obama, CBS notes.
"It's the largest increase to date under any U.S. president. During the entire eight-year presidency of George W. Bush, the debt increased by $4.9 trillion."
Thank you President Obama...yes "It's an historic achievement for Obama", CBS notes. What a legacy?
Wow, thank you Mr. President: Since President Barack Obama took office in January 2009, more than $6 trillion dollars has been added to the national debt. "Without fanfare, the Bureau of Public Debt at the Treasury Department quietly posted its daily debt report showing the total public debt of the U.S. government topped $16.687 trillion. (To be exact: $16,687,289,180,215.37)," reports Mark Knoller of CBS.
"On January 20, 2009, the day Mr. Obama took office, the debt stood at $10.626 trillion. The latest posting reflects an increase of over $6 trillion."
And debt is expected to increase by nearly another trillion this year. "Nevertheless, the Office of Management and Budget projects the national debt will continue to increase by over $800 billion this year and by amounts in the range of $500 billion to $800 billion in the out years - all of which will add to the national debt."
"It's the largest
Mr. Obama said: "The janitors, the security guards, they just got a pay cut, and they've got to figure out how to manage that. That's real."
The president's mention prompted Carlos Elias, the superintendent of the U.S. Capitol building and the Capitol Visitors Center, to email his employees within hours of Mr. Obama's comment.
"The pay and benefits of EACH of our employees WILL NOT be impacted," Elias wrote.
"There was a specific mention in the news today that said 'The employees that clean and maintain the US Capitol will receive a cut in pay' (not specific quote but very close to it)," Elias continued.
"This is NOT TRUE," wrote Elias. "Therefore, I request that you please notify all of our employees about the importance of ignoring media reports."
Scare tactics or just lies, Mr President...Thank you!
The White House has said it was not consulted about the releases, and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has acknowledged they occurred in a manner she regrets.
Thank you Mr. President...I wonder if you have a clue what's going on?

Thanks again Mr. President: WASHINGTON -- The Homeland Security Department released from its jails more than 2,000 illegal immigrants facing deportation in recent weeks due to looming budget cuts and planned to release 3,000 more during March, The Associated Press has learned.
The newly disclosed figures, cited in internal budget documents reviewed by the AP, are significantly higher than the "few hundred" illegal immigrants the Obama administration acknowledged this week had been released under the budget-savings process.
The government documents show that Immigrations and Customs Enforcement released roughly 1,000 illegal immigrants from its jails around the U.S. each week since at least Feb. 15. The agency's field offices have reported more than 2,000 immigrants released before intense criticism this week led to a temporary shutdown of the plan, according to the documents.
The states where immigrants were released include Arizona, California, Georgia and Texas.
And, Mr. President...you want us to be like Europe ASAP? Really?
EUROZONE JOBLESS HITS ANOTHER RECORD...
Italy hits 21-year high...
26.2% in Spain...
Britain slides toward new recession...
Oh, yes, I forgot to thank you for this, Mr. President...
Disposable income, or the money left over after taxes, dropped 4 percent after adjusting for inflation, the biggest plunge since monthly records began in 1959.
Just wanted to say from all of us..."Thank you Mr. President"!
Americans saw their income drop so dramatically in January that it marked the deepest one-month decline in 20 years.
Personal income decreased by $505.5 billion in January, or 3.6%, compared to December (on a seasonally adjusted and annualized basis). That's the most dramatic decline since January 1993, according to the Commerce Department.
Obama began this war on the American way a long time ago...this is just beginning to sink in to those who backed him. We need to stop him from damaging our country to the point that we can't fix it.

concerned, cutting a program that has been paid for and cutting benefits promised are wrong if you don't allow for reasonable alternatives. But, stealing the funds to pay for other things is criminal. What President Johnson and his cronies did to social security should be turned around and the fund re-established. Then the future can be properly evaluated and set up not to fail.
Everything else should be cut to ballance a budget and pay off the debt.
Maybe the truth will be shown to the American people for the first time in over four years...but please don't hold your breath.
Obama has lied over and over and lies will always come out. It's just criminal that the media hid the lies from everyone until he was elected for a second term

I get what you're saying, but it's labelled an entitlement. Regardless of what you call it, we agree that it should be scrapped because its just a miserable failure.
I agree with smaller government. I don't agree that Social security is an entitlement though. The government took money off of people without their consent. The government may not have figured out a good system to pay it back out, but it was not something that people got just because they were entitled it was because they paid in. Entitlements are the benefits that are paid out to people that never paid into a program. As far as social security goes I think it should be scrapped for the younger generation and they could do much better with there money on their own than the government has with the older generation's money. But those that have been forced to pay into it for many years should continue to get a check.
I met Jack Nicklaus today, put a little bounce in my step :)
I would then determine which departments are to be eliminated because they are not the federal governments true entity or resposibilty according to the Constitution.
We would see a surplus which would allow a tax decrease which would turn our economy into a mega growth and more surpluses...time will be good.
Since the left wants to blame Bush...lets cut back to pre-Bush as a budget figure. Then lets cut some loopholes and reduce medicade and truely fix medicare and social security by considering future life expectency. Lets also cut out all the red tape, laws and regulations that hinder our competing with other countries. Then reduce all federal payrolls by 25%. Then get rid of The Affordible Care Act. Then place term limits on congress.
There, that's a good start!

First the President says, I want a ballanced approach and I want the sequester. The republicans don't want either but they agree. Then the President says he didn't propose the sequester and demands the taxes ahead of the cuts in spending. The republicans say it's yours to have and hold. Then the President goes around the country saying the republicans are awful for coming up with this terrible thing called the sequester and they are refusing added taxes. The republicans say, wait a minute...now you can just have "your" sequester. And, no more taxes!
So, who's the bad guy here? If the President really demanded the sequester and demanded tax increases as of the first of the year...it doesn't look like the republicans.
And I dare anyone to try and argue my point about Washington.
This is my rebuttal:
1+ trillion dollar deficits projected for the foreseeable future. Downgraded credit rating. Currency hanging by a thread. 16 trillion in debt. 100+ trillion in unfunded liabilities.
You lose the argument. They have clearly failed, for decades. It's time for the big government project to end before it ruins the country. If you ignore history you are doomed to repeat it. Ask the Romans about centralized micromanaging.
Of course you would have to come up with a plan for the people who have already paid into it their entire lives. But younger people shouldn't pay into it and should never receive it. It's a fraud. It's the worlds greatest Ponzi scheme--don't worry, we'll hold your money for you. Oh wait, that account will be broke in a number of years...
If we could shrink the federal government to where it should be (as per the Constitution) then you would be able to take home enough money that no one would need tax deductions. I don't think they should exist anyways, the entire tax system should be thrown out.
Basically everything that Washington does is a complete failure. This is the nature of having a HUGE government, eventually you lose control.
Let me try to get everything..
Federal aid may not be a huge part of the budget, but every bit counts, right? They sure are acting like 85 billion is major deal--we give a*****of a lot more than that out in aid. And yes, to Israel too. When, in your life, has the Middle East ever been stable?
Domestic programs being handled by the states would mean that we would pay more money to the state and less to the feds. Everything would be run far more efficiently than sending the money to Washington and having it go through a bureaucratic process only to have our representatives beg for pieces of it back. And some of the programs just need to be cut, period. Social security and Medicare are two that you mentioned--both should be cut. Find the word entitlement in the Constitution. It isn't a duty of the federal government.
