HEADLINE: Email tells feds to make sequester as painful as promised

"The Obama administration denied an appeal for flexibility in lessening the sequester’s effects, with an email this week appearing to show officials in Washington that because they already had promised the cuts would be devastating, they now have to follow through on that...

“This email confirms what many Americans have suspected: The Obama administration is doing everything they can to make sure their worst predictions come true and to maximize the pain of the Sequester cuts for political gain,” said Rep. Tim Griffin, Arkansas Republican."

This is sick. Obama and his Administration is so corrupt, he makes Nixon look like a Boy Scout.

Hey, no worries. Fedzilla is going to have plenty more money soon:

"In a final regulation issued Wednesday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) assumed that under Obamacare the cheapest health insurance plan available in 2016 for a family will cost $20,000 for the year.

Under Obamacare, Americans will be required to buy health insurance or pay a penalty to the IRS.

The IRS's assumption that the cheapest plan for a family will cost $20,000 per year is found in examples the IRS gives to help people understand how to calculate the penalty they will need to pay the government if they do not buy a mandated health plan."

The CHEAPEST plan for a family will cost $20,000 per year. The cheapest.

"The Department of Homeland Security (through the U.S. Army Forces Command) recently retrofitted 2,717 of these ‘Mine Resistant Protected’ vehicles for service on the streets of the United States."

There's some money we could have saved. Lots of money. What kind of war is Homeland gearing up for, anyway?

Did you notice how nice I've been in thanking Mr. Obama for everything. Do you notice how the liberals have gone into hiding. I guess that means if I thank Mr. Obama all liberals stay away....thank you, thank you, thank you, etc.

Amusing, but true: Obama is crying doom and gloom for a 2% reduction in spending, when every working person has just absorbed a 2% reduction in spending due to the tax increase.

Guess we're just tougher than him.

At the time, President Barack Obama said the deal “enshrines … a principle into law that will remain in place as long as I am president: The deficit needs to be reduced after we spend more and if anything is left over, in a way that’s balanced, including additional taxes”

“They haven’t established anything,” “All they’ve established is they want to spend at all costs, and they keep themselves in power by spending it and saying how compassionate they are with everybody else’s money.”

"There will be no last-minute, backroom deal and absolutely no agreement to increase taxes," Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Friday as he prepared to meet with congressional leaders and Obama at the White House.

Thank you Mr. Obama for trying to break us financially.

CNSNews****) – Federal revenue will return to its pre-recession levels in 2013, according to projections from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), setting a record for the most money the government has ever taken in.

In its latest Budget and Economic Update, the CBO forecasts that federal revenue will top $2.7 trillion in 2013, slightly higher than the $2.6 trillion the government collected in 2007, when the last recession officially began."

Obviously, we have a spending problem, not a revenue problem.

How much money would be saved if we went back to the 2007 income levels required to get on the dole? And food stamps?

Sperling declined at least twice to directly answer questions about whether the worst-case-scenario rhetoric has hurt the president’s credibility on the issue. He instead stuck to his argument that independent economists forecast the cuts will result in 750,000 fewer jobs and that corporate executives now anticipate slower economic growth"

This sounds like a steaming pile of that-which-comes-out-of-the-back-end-of-the-male-bovine.

If it's true that slowing the growth of government spending will cost 750,000 jobs, then Obama's nearly trillion dollar stimu-lust should have created over 10 million jobs, right?

Yes, Mr. President, you should be so proud of the fiscal disaster you are dumping us into.

It's an historic achievement for Obama, CBS notes.

"It's the largest increase to date under any U.S. president. During the entire eight-year presidency of George W. Bush, the debt increased by $4.9 trillion."

Wow, thank you Mr. President: Since President Barack Obama took office in January 2009, more than $6 trillion dollars has been added to the national debt. "Without fanfare, the Bureau of Public Debt at the Treasury Department quietly posted its daily debt report showing the total public debt of the U.S. government topped $16.687 trillion. (To be exact: $16,687,289,180,215.37)," reports Mark Knoller of CBS.

"On January 20, 2009, the day Mr. Obama took office, the debt stood at $10.626 trillion. The latest posting reflects an increase of over $6 trillion."

And debt is expected to increase by nearly another trillion this year. "Nevertheless, the Office of Management and Budget projects the national debt will continue to increase by over $800 billion this year and by amounts in the range of $500 billion to $800 billion in the out years - all of which will add to the national debt."

It's an historic achievement for Obama, CBS notes.

Mr. Obama said: "The janitors, the security guards, they just got a pay cut, and they've got to figure out how to manage that. That's real."

The president's mention prompted Carlos Elias, the superintendent of the U.S. Capitol building and the Capitol Visitors Center, to email his employees within hours of Mr. Obama's comment.

"The pay and benefits of EACH of our employees WILL NOT be impacted," Elias wrote.

"There was a specific mention in the news today that said 'The employees that clean and maintain the US Capitol will receive a cut in pay' (not specific quote but very close to it)," Elias continued.

"This is NOT TRUE," wrote Elias. "Therefore, I request that you please notify all of our employees about the importance of ignoring media reports."

Scare tactics or just lies, Mr President...Thank you!
