Ribbon-cutting for Label Shopper

The Label Shopper held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday afternoon with the Salem Chamber of Commerce at in the Marc's Plaza at 2487 East State Street. The company has about 70 stores including in Ashtabula, Tiffin, Meadville and Cranville, Pa., and in surrounding states. According to the company website, Label Shopper buys discounted brand name clothing - miscalculations and mistakes of perfectly good, excellent quality cancellations and over-runs by manufacturers that are turned into fashion bargain opportunities. Label Shopper offers misses' apparel, men's clothing, fashion accessories and famous-label handbags. The store has 4,500 square feet of floor space, four dressing rooms and seven full- and part-time employees.
