September 3, 2014
Salem News

Lisbon firefighters extinguished a fire in a Hyundai that crashed into a field at the intersection of Gamble and Sell roads in Center Township Tuesday evening. Darlene Ingledue, 44, of Salem was driving the car that caught fire. She told highway patrol Sgt. Craig Monte the accelerator stuck and the brakes locked up as she approached the intersection, sending the car into the field where it caught fire. Ingledue had three male passengers with her, her son Ted Ingledue, Gary Waite and Nathan Winn. Waite and Winn, with non-life threatening injuries, were transported by private vehicle to the hospital. Ingledue was cited for failure to control. (Salem News photo by Patti Schaeffer)
