SALEM - Ronald E. Reichenbach, 88, of Salem passed over on Aug. 22, 2014.
He was born May 18, 1926 in Salem, OH, the son of the late Russell J. and Amy (Swenningson) Reichenbach.
He retired from Deming Crane after 44 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post 574 in North Georgetown and VFW Post 892 in Salem. He served in the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Holy Trinity English Lutheran Church in Salem, Salem Saxon Branch 19 and the Salem Saxon Retirees.
Survivors include his wife Jo-Ann Vignere Barnes, whom he married Dec. 23, 1960; one stepdaughter, Deborah Stewart, Salem, OH; one stepson, Kenneth (Mary) Barnes, Strongsville, OH; one step-grandson, Stephen Barnes, Strongsville, OH; one step-granddaughter, Melissa (Adam) Kress, Wake Forest, NC; two step-great-grandsons, Blake and Karson Kress of Wake Forest, NC; and, two sisters, Juliet (Chuck) Mooney, Port Orange, FL, and Joan Gardner, Beloit, OH.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Reichenbach, and his stepson-in-law, Jim Stewart.
