Salem Community Theatre (SCT) is staging the second annual alumni cabaret benefit, "Disney on Broadway," at 7 p.m. Aug. 15 and 16.
It will feature an eight-member cast of young performers who began and grew their interest in the theatrical arts at SCT and the surrounding area. After last year's overwhelming response to the alumni cabaret "Look What SCT Has Done For Me," Director Connor Bezeredi and Music Director Tyler Stouffer are bringing "Disney on Broadway," an all new lineup of songs from Disney's biggest Broadway blockbusters.
As the title suggests, Bezeredi and Stouffer have scoured the vast Disney catalogue for songs that were used in live Broadway productions.
These Salem Community Theatre “alumni” are ready to entertain in the benefit cabaret “Disney on Broadway,” at 7 p.m. Aug. 15 and 16.
