CANFIELD - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Berlin Center United Methodist Church for Betty Jean Haynali, 79, of Berlin Center who died Saturday afternoon at Crandall Medical Center.
Betty was born March 6, 1935 in Salem, a daughter of the late Herman and Marjorie Walton Deville and was a lifelong area resident.
Betty graduated from Salem High School and was a member of Berlin Center United Methodist Church. She was very involved with the church and had organized the United Methodist Women's Group, where she had served as president. Betty worked for Uniroyal Tire for over 10 years as an area manager.
Her husband, Robert Murray, whom she married Aug. 3, 1952, died during September 1975.
She leaves her second husband, Philip A. Haynali, whom she married Feb. 22, 1980; four sons, Robert Lee (Debbie) Murray of Bolivar, Ohio, Bryan James (Wanda) Murray of Canyon Lake, Texas, Barry J. (Andrea) Murray of Allison Park, PA., and Bruce E. (Theresa) of Woodbine, Maryland; two stepdaughters, Kimberly Marie (Brian) Hupp of Pomeroy, Ohio, and Sherry Lynn Parker of Lakewood, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her first husband Betty was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Deville.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield Chapel and for one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the church.
