- A Harley-Davidson motorcycle registered to John C. Anderson Jr., Rose Drive, Lisbon, was found crashed on state Route 45 in Center Township at 2:57 a.m. Saturday. According to reports, it had gone off the right side of the road and struck a ditch, and the driver fled the scene. The trooper went to Anderson's home, which was about a mile and a half from the scene of the accident, and reported finding him with a fresh red mark on his leg and smelling of alcohol. Anderson denied driving the motorcycle and reported it stolen, and the trooper reported that he believed Anderson was being deceitful in his statements in order to avoid being charged with OVI. The incident remains under investigation with the driver unidentified.
