ELKTON - Paul J. "Sonny Paul" Faulk, 69, of state Route 154, died at 10:20 p.m. Monday at the Vibra Hospital in Boardman following a lengthy illness.
Born July 12, 1944, in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Paul W. and Betty (Taylor) Faulk.
Mr. Faulk worked as a diesel mechanic for Cummins Diesel for over 40 years, retiring in 2006. He was associated with the Lisbon Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
His wife, Sue L. (Wheaton) Faulk, whom he married June 6, 1963, preceded him in death, May 29, 2006.
Survivors include a daughter, Tabatha Faulk of Salem; a son, Terry (Tracie) Faulk of Elkton; a sister, Jean (Ken) Price of East Liverpool; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Brother Allan Foster officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Lisbon Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 38195 Hunter Camp Road, Lisbon, Ohio 44432.
