First Presbyterian's Big Backyard kicks off at 6 p.m. today under a new name.
In honor of its founder and coordinator, Denise Herron Weingart, the program will now be called "Denise's Big Backyard."
Weingart passed away this spring, leaving as her legacy the Big Backyard, a summer program hosted by First Presbyterian Church from 6 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday.
