LISBON - Dakota J. Mahon, 20, West Clark Street, East Palestine, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to receiving stolen property for pawning for $393, a men's gold wedding band, a men's ring with diamonds and a men's gold necklace.
The items were valued at $4,009 total, and were pawned at National Cash Advance in East Palestine on the morning of Nov. 8, 2013. He faces up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine. Sentencing is set for Aug. 15.
- Jeffrey L. Reynolds, 47, last known address Cleveland Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree felony OVI. He faces up to 30 months in prison, a $10,500 fine, a lifetime license suspension, a vehicle forfeiture and an alcohol/drug addiction program. Sentencing is set for Aug. 11.
- John Prager Jr., 47, New Cumberland, W.Va., pleaded guilty to possession of drugs and tampering with evidence. Prager had cocaine in a blue container on May 4, 2013, which he tried to throw in an attempt to keep police for discovering and seizing it. He faces up to four years in prison, a five year license suspension and a $12,500 fine. Sentencing is set for Aug. 11.
- Brianne L. Trump, 22, North State Street, New Waterford, stipulated to violating her probation and was sentenced to 64 days in the county jail, but credited with 59 days already served and will continue her three years of probation, which will conclude on April 16, 2015. In April 2012, Trump had pleaded guilty to breaking and entering and theft. The first charge was for serving as a look out while others were breaking into the Vittle Village in New Waterford in February 2011. Trump along with Nathan Zavatsky and Timothy Boggs Jr. then took a cash box, a set of keys, rolls of coins, cartons of cigarettes and boxes of Trident gum. Both men were also convicted of breaking and entering and theft charges.
The second charge involved a stolen 2004 Suzuki dirt bike belonging to Ralph Moore Jr. on Feb. 3, 2011.
