A sweet act of kindness

United Local's fifth-grade class held its annual Candy Market Day on June 3. Students created their own candy, marketed their product and actually made the product to sell to their classmates and community members. Proceeds raised from the sale of the candy, $445.80, was donated to Winona Friends Church food pantry.
