SEBRING - Phyllis M. Gfeller, 91, died at Crandall Medical Center Thursday, June 5, 2014 following a long illness.
She was born Dec. 26, 1922, a daughter of the late Ralph and Verna (Seibert) Lockhart Sr.
She retired from Church Budget and volunteered at the Sebring Concern.
She was a member of East Goshen Friends Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Cathy (Pat) O'Hara of Indiana and Debra (Jim) Harp of Sebring; one son, Ronald (Debbie) Stearns of Beloit; two step-sons, Albert E. Gfeller of Berlin Center and Richard Dale Gfeller of Salem; two sisters, Carol Ann Diehl of Sebring and Mary Ellen (Dick) Halen of Alliance; one brother, Allen (Beverly) Lockhart of Beloit; nine grandchildren, Andresa Mashema, Tracy (Mike) Springer, Julie (Kenny) Moats, Sean O'Hara, Rory O'Hara, Jenna (Josh) Richner, Stephanie (John) Samples, Matt (Melissa) Stearns and Heather Ulrich; three step grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert S. Gfeller; one son, Jeff Gfeller; and a brother, Fred Lockhart.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014 at East Goshen Church with Pastor Gerald Baker officiating.
Friends may call one hour before the service at the church.
Burial will be at the church cemetery.
