COLUMBIANA - Ramon L. Berger, 86, of Columbiana, died Thursday afternoon at the Northside Medical Center in Youngstown.
Born Jan. 31, 1928, in Sebring, he was the son of the late Crist and Elsie (Mountz) Berger.
Mr. Berger had been a farmer for most of his life and a driver for BFI for 15 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of the East Fairfield United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, the former, Sarah Moore; a son, Leonard (Sue) Berger of East Palestine; a daughter, Christina Sturgell of Columbiana; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, JoAnn (Jay) Jarvis of Windham, Maine.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the East Fairfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Susan Antolik officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church.
