NEW WATERFORD Linda H. Kerr, 63, of New Waterford, passed away Tuesday morning, April 29, at Hospice House in Poland.
Linda was born on March 28, 1951, in Salem, a daughter of William K. and Maxine L. (Snyder) Kerr.
A 1969 graduate of North Lima High School, Linda married Ray Howdershelt on Feb. 14, 1990. She was employed by Smith-Kline Labs as a courier at one time.
Linda enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing. She was an avid animal lover, and participated in 4-H as an adviser for many years. She also was a member of the Penn-Ohio Rabbit Breeders Association.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her husband, Ray; two daughters, Judy (Waid) Cosgray of Baltimore, Ohio, and Patti (Jason) Huffman of Youngstown; a stepdaughter, Janie Howdershelt of New Philadelphia; two stepsons, Keith Howdershelt of Coshocton and Ray Jr. of Stratton, Ohio; six grandchildren, Deanna Jordan, Cassie Ripple, and Tyler, Catherine, William, and Charles Cosgray; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce (Jeff) Ziegler of Columbiana; a brother, Larry (Karren) Kerr of North Lima; a sister-in-law, Georgina Kerr of Columbiana; her special aunt, Joanne Crum; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William L. Kerr.
There are no calling hours or service per Linda's wishes.
