Lindsey Hecker and Josh Melitschka were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Lindsay-Chapman Chapel on the campus of Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea. The Rev. Ron Dauphia officiated at the couple's double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Marsha Hecker of Darien, Conn. The bridegroom's parents are Cathie Melitschka of Salem and the late Matt Melitschka.
Nuptial music was provided by Sonata Strings from Jerry Bruno Productions.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a Ravini off-white lace gown with beaded detail. She carried a bouquet of orange garden roses, orange dahlias, orange miniature calla lilies and white hydrangea accented with lace from her mother's wedding dress.
Allison Dalton, the bride's sister, was the matron of honor. Ashley Hecker, the bride's sister, was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kate Vross, the bridegroom's sister; Sara Fondran, the bride's cousin; and Kristyn Sabini.
Ryann Vross, the bridegroom's niece, was the flower girl.
Jim Martin served as best man.
Ushers included Jim Vross, the bridegroom's brother-in-law; Mark Stanton, Bryant Bezon and Matt Kolman.
Matthew Vross, the bridegroom's nephew, was the ring bearer.
Approximately 165 guests attended the reception at The Club at Hillbrook in Chagrin Falls.
The bride received a bachelor's of arts in business administration from Baldwin-Wallace University. She is project manager at Safeguard Properties.
The bridegroom graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's of business administration and a master's of accounting. He is a certified public accountant consultant at Gabriel Partners in Cleveland.
Following a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Broadview Heights.
