COLUMBIANA Robert K. Henderson, 77, of Columbiana, died Saturday morning at his home.
Born March 10, 1937, in Kent, he was the son of the late Orlen and Margaret (Mehwinny) Henderson.
Mr. Henderson, a 1956 graduate of East Palestine High School, joined the U.S. Marine Corps that year. He was stationed in Okinawa and was a corporal before his honorable discharge in 1960. He owned and operated Henderson Office Supply for 33 years and the Greenford Country Store for five years.
Survivors include his wife, the former Marcia Bevington, whom he married Aug. 15, 1963; his daughter, Sis Birch and her husband Jim of Lisbon; son, Matt Henderson and his wife Lily Mae of Lisbon; two grandsons; a brother, Terry Henderson and his wife Yonny of San Antonio.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm St.
Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 290 of Columbiana at Columbiana Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
