April 16, 2014
Salem News

Leetonia firefighters and EMS personnel work to extricate Flora Broaka of Union Street, Washingtonville, following a rollover crash at state Route 344 and Lisbon-Canfield Road shortly after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Broaka was a passenger in the 2007 Chrysler Aspen driven by 61-year-old James Hurst, also of Union Street, Washingtonville. Broaka was taken to Salem Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Also taken to SRMC with minor injuries were Keith and Kenny Pokorny of Leetonia and David Pokorny of Salem. State trooper Nicholas Clayton is investigating the accident in which the 2007 Chrysler Aspen driven by James Hurst, travelling on Lisbon-Canfield Road, failed to yield the right of way at the Route 344 intersection, colliding with a 1996 Buick Regal driven by David Pokorny of Salem.
