Free senior living seminar will be held Tuesday at Copeland Oaks
SEBRING - A free senior living seminar, featuring national expert Rick Hunsicker, will be held Tuesday at Copeland Oaks.
Two sessions are offered: a lunch session at 11:30 a.m. and a dinner session at 5 p.m. Seating is limited. A meal is included with the seminar which will be held in the Copeland Oaks Murphy Auditorium. The seminar is open to the public.

Columbiana High School's track and field team holding rummage sale on April 21
COLUMBIANA - Columbiana High School's track and field team is holding a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 21 in the high school commons, 700 Columbiana-Waterford Road. Clothing, household items, raffle and auction items and concessions will be available. Admission and parking are free.

HeartWalk Team of Salem Regional Medical Center will host bake sale on April 17
SALEM - Salem Regional Medical Center's (SRMC) HeartWalk Team will host a bake sale from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 17 in the SRMC cafeteria.
A variety of homemade treats will be available, with proceeds from the event benefiting the American Heart Association's research and prevention programs.

OSU Columbiana County Alumni Club hosting banquet on May 15 at the SGC
SALEM - The Ohio State University Columbiana County Alumni Club is hosting an OSU banquet, open to all friends of the university, on May 15 at the Salem Golf Club.
The main speaker is Jack Park who is in his 36th season as an Ohio State radio commentator for Sports Radio 97.1 The Fan in Columbus.
Also to be honored is Salem High School graduate, OSU graduating senior and girls basketball student athlete Amy Scullion.
There will memorabilia for a silent auction benefiting the Columbiana County OSU Students. Cocktails begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $25 per person at the door. Reservations are requested by May 9 by calling Geoff Goll 330-337-9529.
Parks is the author of four Ohio State football books, including "The Ohio State University Football Vault" with foreword by former Head Coach Jim Tressel and Afterword by two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin, and The Official Ohio State Football Encyclopedia with Foreword by ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit. Parks is featured frequently each season in football programming on ESPN, The Big Ten Network, HBO, NFL Films, and WBNS-10TV.
Parks received his master's of business administration from the University of Pittsburgh and his bachelor's of science from OSU.
He has served as an adjunct professor of accounting at six different universities. He is an active member of the Football Writers Association of America, the National Speakers Association, and the Ohio Society of CPAs.
Benefit dinner to aid Householders with medical expenses is scheduled May 3
EAST PALESTINE - A benefit to help Ron and Traci Householder of East Palestine with medical expenses will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. May 3 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 40 S. Market St.
Ron has lung cancer and has been off work. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Dinner includes spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and a beverage. Carryouts will be available. There also will be a 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction.
