LISBON - Helen L. Rohm, 82, of state Route 45, died Wednesday morning at the Circle of Care in Salem following a recent illness.
Mrs. Rohm was born March 23, 1932 in Green County, W. Va., a daughter of the late Rex Smith and Ella (Shipman) Bissett, and had lived in the Lisbon area since 1969, coming from Pennsylvania.
A former member of the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene, she was a homemaker and had worked at various part time jobs after her husband passed away.
Her husband, William James Rohm, whom she married Dec. 6, 1956, preceded her in death Dec. 5, 1980.
She is survived by her daughters, Shari Martin of Thurmont, Md., and Gina Rohm of Leetonia; sons, Douglas W. (Susan) Rohm of Lisbon and James L. (Dreamia) Rohm of Salem; sister, Hazel Stockdale of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, William L. Rohm.
Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. Monday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Pamela Gable officiating. Burial will follow in the Lisbon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
