SALEM - Rob (Robert) Henry Crihfield, 31, of Salem, died Friday evening at Hospice House in Poland.
He was born on March 5, 1983 in Salem, the son of Robert M. Crihfield and Elizabeth Anne (Richardson) Hoopes.
He was a graduate of United Local High School and the Pittsburgh Technical Institute where he held an associate's degree in computer design and networking.
Rob loved to garden and grow vegetables and work on the computers. One of his favorite things was to play the guitar and singing with friends.
He is survived by his mother Elizabeth (Richardson) Hoopes of Salem; his father Robert M. Crihfield of Alliance; siblings Stephanie (Seung) Park of Birmingham, Ala., and Noah Crihfield of Alliance; maternal grandmother Nancy Linder of Salem; maternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Clyde and Jan Richardson of Salem; paternal grandmother and grandfather William and Inez Crihfield of Texas; plus a loving extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A time of visitation will be observed from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
The services for Rob will be held privately for the family only.
