MINERVA - Mary Jo Casper, 76, of Minerva, died Sunday in the Great Trail Care Center.
She was born May 12, 1937, in Youngstown, to Thomas and Mary (Carney) Foltz.
Mrs. Casper retired from the Minerva Local School District where she was the school nurse for 14 years. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva. She graduated from Youngstown Ursuline High School and also graduated in 1958 from the Aultman School of Nursing.
She was preceded in death in 2013 by her husband, David Casper.
Survivors include a sister, Patti (Rob) Ailes of Tampa, Fla.; and a brother, Joseph Foltz of Staten Island, N.Y.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with Father Anthony Batt as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Church Cemetery in Malvern.
Calling hours will be held two hours prior to services at the church from 9 to 11 a.m.
