LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Scott Alan Powell Jr., 33, Lyons Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $1,075, had his license suspended for six months and was required to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and failure to reinstate a license.
Zachary Tyler Grimes, 21, state Route 644, Hanoverton, was fined $905, required 40 hours community service, had his license suspended for six months and was required to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense, a seat belt violation and improper transport of a firearm in a motor vehicle, amended from the felony improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. A failure to control citation was dismissed.
Robert E. Chester, 43, Orchard Avenue, Salem, was fined $675, had his license suspended for six months, required 40 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense. A turn signal violation was dismissed.
Brandon R. Toothman, 23, Vine Street, Salem, was fined $300, required 40 hours community service and credited with three days served in jail for obstructing official business and persistent disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence.
James Radman, 29, Crestview Road, Leetonia, was fined $250 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Todd R. Stoffel, 38, state Route 45, Lisbon, was credited with one day served in jail for persistent disorderly conduct, amended from criminal damaging, for kicking the car of Brian Nestor and hitting his door by throwing a cup at it.
Rebecca L. Guy, 62, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $200, credited with one day served in jail and required 10 hours community service for complicity to commit theft for driving her daughter to a Spillway Road, Lisbon, home to look for items stolen from her daughter.
Jessica M. Jewell, 30, Poland, was fined $150 and credited with three days served for resisting arrest. The charge was from refusing to cooperate with Wellsville police attempting to bring her out of the home of Joe DaLonzo, where she was found in a closet in the basement in September 2013.
Ryan W. Virden, 25, Spillway Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from assault for striking Levi Pollock in the back with a baseball bat on Aug. 10, 2013.
Paul Dabney, 25, West Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $100 for obstructing official business for hiding in a closet when police came to the door with a warrant.
Thomas German, 49, state Route 9, Kensington, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Thomas R. Norton, 24, Thomas Street, East Palestine, was fined $200, required 20 hours community service and credited with one day served in jail for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for striking Dakota Gorichky in the face.
Malcolm Gilford, 27, West Main Street, Washingtonville, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and a headlights violation.
Justin V. Russell, 29, Columbus, was fined $100 for driving without a valid license, amended from driving under suspension. A one-way traffic citation was dismissed.
Valerie Missenda, 42, East Third Street, Salem, was credited with one day served for theft for taking vodka, pork links and ground beef from Sparkle Market in Salem on Feb. 27. Additionally she was ordered to attend the STAR program.
Charges of criminal simulation were dismissed against Chad M. Collins, 28, McCracken Road, Salem, who was accused of attempting to pay for beer and gas at Circle K, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, on Feb. 27 with a $100 bill found to actually be a $5 with $100 copied over the number. Additionally, police allegedly found three additional counterfeit $100 bills in his wallet. The dismissal was on an order of the prosecutor's office.
A March 27 pretrial was set for Richard A. Sigley, 52, last known address Midland, Pa., cited with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest for allegedly walking along East Taggart Street intoxicated and staggering into the street. He then attempting to elude police and became belligerent with them when they decided to take him into custody because he could not get anyone to come give him a ride home.
An April 3 pretrial was set for Chantel M. Shuman, 22, Orchard Court, Salem, cited with possession of drug abuse instrument for allegedly having 11 suspected syringes inside her bookbag in the backseat of her vehicle.
An April 22 pretrial was set for Cynthia R. McGraw, 56, Padgett Road, East Palestine, cited with possession of marijuana and a seat belt violation.
An April 24 pretrial was set for Charlene M. Sias, 36, Elkton Road, Lisbon, cited with driving under suspension, failure to display a valid sticker and a seat belt violation. She was also fined $25 for a previous driving under FRA suspension citation.
An April 28 pretrial was set for Shane J. Linden, 34, Crestview Road, Leetonia, cited with OVi first offense and failure to control.
An April 29 pretrial was set for Nicole M. Hilton, 44, West Chestnut Street, Lisbon, cited for use of an unauthorized plate.
