Another successful Project Prom

March 24, 2014
Salem News

Volunteer students from West Branch go through part of a 1,000-dresses Project Prom inventory. The collaboration between West Branch and Salem high schools, under the co-direction of teachers Jill DeRamo of West Branch and Tracy Bosheff of Salem, is in its eighth year of providing an alternative of gently-worn but still very attractive dresses to area high school girls wishing to take advantage of many styles and selections. There is no cost involved. A well-attended distribution was held Saturday in the Salem Schools Administration Building. About 100 dresses were donated this year. Project Prom dresses are re-donated following respective proms for later use. Shoes and accessories were also available. Shown from left helping out with Project Prom are Hayley Kozar, Catie Metzgar, Megan Winters, Brianna Rzucidlo, Kristen Bates and Allie Garrett. (Salem?News photo by J.D.Creer)
