Steubenville man pleads guilty

LISBON - Sterling Hughey, 25, Steubenville, pleaded guilty to a lessor offense of receiving stolen property, a first degree misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay a $250 fine. A review hearing was set for June 9. Hughey was accused of driving a stolen Impala on Aug. 5, 2012 southbound on state Route 11 in Elkrun Township. The vehicle was reported as stolen by Avis Budget Group on June 15, 2012 in Southfield, Mich. Hughey was initially charged with a felony receiving stolen property charge.
