LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a Feb. 27 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Reginald Odd, 42, Alliance, charged with a felony theft, and two counts of misdemeanor theft. Odd is accused of taking two Gateway PCs from WalMart in Salem on Feb. 18, 41 Bic lighters from Circle K, West State Street, on Feb. 18 and assisting two other people in loading up a vehicle with $1,420 in stolen merchandise from Walmart on Feb. 24.

Jayme L. Grimwood, 35, Warren, was fined $975, had her license suspended for 12 months, required 50 hours of community service and sentenced to 10 days in jail for OVI second offense, driving under FRA suspension and marked lanes.

Jason S. Beaver, 34, West Main Street, East Palestine, was fined $825, required 30 hours community service, had his license suspended for six months, was sentenced to three days in jail and three days in a driving counseling program for OVI first offense, left of center and drug paraphernalia.

Bruce R. Grope, 60, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, was fined $755, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense, lane violations and a seat belt violation.

Franklin W. Joy, 55, Township Line Road, Wellsville, was fined $705, had his license suspended for six months and was sentenced to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and a turn signal violation.

Robert J. Ketchum, 26, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $300, sentenced to 30 days in jail and required 40 hours community service for receiving stolen property and theft. Ketchum pawned several items at Salem Cashland last November, which belonged to Walter Snead. The items were eight Playstation Three games, Playstation three components, an electric heat gun, an electric stable gun, an electric sander, a circular saw and 17 DVD movies. Snead is also missing another 50 movies from his home. Additionally, on Nov. 10, Ketchum took several items from WalMart and ran past lost prevention employees, who chased him through the parking lot.

Sherry E. Scarabino, 54, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $250, credited with five days in jail served and ordered to serve an additional five days for violating a temporary protection order for telephone contact with David Ulbright, state Route 39, Wellsville. Another charge of violating a temporary protection order against Scarabino alleging she went to Dave Thompson's place of employment, the Wellsville High School, to talk with the high school principal about him and spoke ill of him during a phone conversation with school officials, was dismissed.

Joshua R. Smith, 31, Tippecanoe, was fined $250 and credited with two days served for disorderly conduct amended from aggravated menacing. An obstructing official business citation against him was dismissed. Smith allegedly had a handgun in the Foxes Den Night Club on Jan. 1, 2013 and held it to the abdomen of Robert C. Reynolds during an altercation inside the club.

Lawrence M. Smith Jr., 26, West State Street, Salem, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under FRA suspension.

Rebecca L. Masterson, 51, West Pershing Street, Salem, was fined $130 for driving with a temporary permit without an eligible driver and traffic control device violations.

A March 3 pretrial was set for Ronnie A. Clemens, 52, McCann Road, Kensington, cited with domestic violence for allegedly blackening both of his wife's eyes and leaving blood on the side of her head, along with a swollen nose.

A March 25 pretrial was set for Robert E. Chester, 43, Orchard Avenue, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and a turn signal violation.

A March 27 pretrial was set for James T. Mills, 48, West Pershing Street, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and a turn signal violation.

A March 31 pretrial was set for Leona A. Smith, 23, Loraine, charged with possession of drugs (marijuana) and open container.

A March 25 pretrial was set for Scott Alan Powell Jr., 33, Lyons Avenue, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense and failure to reinstate a license.
