SALEM- Police arrested a Salem man Saturday night after he allegedly terrorized the Sparkle Market while intoxicated.
Charles A. Sine, 43, 1080 N. Lincoln Ave., was charged with theft, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors, after officers responded to the South Lundy Avenue store at 8:22 p.m. where he was reportedly intoxicated and causing problems.
Officers found Sine at the rear of the store where he refused to cooperate and began walking away. At that time he started opening packages and eating the food and refused to stop when told to do so. He also refused to identify himself.
Sine reportedly continued to struggle with officers while being taken into custody.
