Donald L. Barborak

PLEASANTVILLE - Donald L. Barborak, 69, of Carroll Eastern Rd. NE, died at 5:40 a.m. Sunday at Heartland-Fairfield following an extended illness.

Mr. Barborak was born Sept. 2, 1944 in Salem, a son of the late Steve M. and Ada (Stark) Barborak.

Heworked as a mechanic for various companies throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and Nevada. He also served during the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of the St. Agatha's Catholic Church in West Point.

He is survived by his sisters, Donna (John) Persohn of Pleasantville,Carol (William) Johnson of Ashvilleand Terri (Don) Beckman of Dublin; and a brother, Steve M. (Lois) Barborak of Smithfield, R.I.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Edwards officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
