Dungannon - Mildred M. Tolley, 96, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2014 at the Essex I Nursing Home in Salem.
Shee was born Nov. 1, 1917 in Red Nob, W. Va., to Roy Ernest and Ella Mae (Romine) Booth.
She was a homemaker and belonged to the New Lebanon Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbert "Ty" Tolley, whom she married Nov. 15, 1936 and who died Feb. 10, 1983.
Survivors include two daughters, Anna Mae (John) Roseburg of Hanoverton and Lois (Timothy) McGuyrt of Canton; a son, James (Marian) Tolley of Black Hawk, S.D.; a sister, Berdieh Jones of Harmony, W. Va.; a daughter-in-law, Doris Tolley, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was a son, Roy Tolley; a daughter, Merle Elizabeth Tolley; sister, Evangline Hopkins; and two brothers, Jesse and Hobert Booth.
Merle's calling hours will be held at the Maple Cotton Funeral Home in Kensington, Ohio, Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at the Maple Cotton Funeral Home Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Donna Todd and Pastor Joseph Hendricks officiating.
Burial will follow at New Lebanon Cemetery.
