COLUMBIANA -Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church for Judith McMurray, 73, who died Monday evening at the Cleveland Clinic.

Pastor Joshua Conley will officiate.

Born Dec. 25, 1940, in Poland, she was the daughter of Michael and Katherine (Dressel) Lossick.

Mrs. McMurray was a first and second-grade teacher for Lisbon Exempted Village Schools for 29 years, retiring in 1998. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Columbiana.

Survivors include her daughter, Robinn McMurray of Coconut Creek, Fla.; her son, Christopher (Margaret) McMurray of Ravenna; three grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Lossick of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Edward Lossick of Grove City; and a sister, Marta Sevenich of Leetonia.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death on May 15, 1997, by her husband, Dale, whom she married on March 18, 1959.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana and also one hour prior to the services at 9 a.m. Friday at the church.
