LISBON - A New Springfield man accused of transporting a number of stolen guns and storing them at a Short Street, Salem, home on Dec. 7, 2012, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to receiving stolen property.
Robert P. White, 25, Beaver Springfield Road, New Springfield, had a Herrington and Richardson 12-gauge shotgun, a Stevens 20-gauge shotgun, a Mossberg 12-gauge pump shotgun and a Remington model No. 770 belonging to Garrett Holloway. White faces up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine. Sentencing was set for March 10.
Gary T. Dorsey, 52, 14th Street, Wellsville, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs with a forfeiture specification. Court documents state on Nov. 11, 2012, Dorsey had cocaine wrapped within 10 individual pieces of plastic, along with $152 believe to have been used in the commission of a drug-related offense. He faces up to 12 months in prison and a $5,000 fine. Sentencing is set for March 3.
