LISBON - Duryea Curt Ulbrich, Sr. 61, of Steubenville Pike Road died at 5:43 p.m. Saturday in the emergency room at Salem Community Hospital following an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Ulbrich was born Feb. 5, 1952 in Salem, a son of the late Daniel M. and Doris (Newcomer) Ulbrich, Jr. He was a laborer and worked for Marsh Bellofram. Mr. Ulbrich attended the Lisbon Baptist Temple and the United Methodist Church in East Palestine.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Tyson) Ulbrich, whom he married April 19, 1974; children Duryea Ulbrich, Jr. of Lisbon, Tammie (Greg) Hallock of Lisbon, Todd Ulbrich of Lisbon, and Hollie (Jim) Little of Salem; a sister, Darlee (Ray) Metzger of Salem; eight grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Cusick officiating. Burial will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
