- Firefighters responded to the city service garage off of Southeast Boulevard after a report of an oil spill at 8:54 a.m. Friday. The small oil spill came from the hydraulic system of a truck delivering salt and was already being cleaned up by service department employees who had the oil confined to a small area and used sand to absorb the oil. The trucking agency had a crew on the way to make repairs.


- The Columbiana Fire Department was called to the railroad overpass on state Route 344 at 4:14 p.m. Thursday for a rollover crash near Envelope 1. The department provided traffic control while the Lisbon Post of the Highway Patrol handled the accident.
